    2002 mille odeometer

Can anyone shed any light on as why after clocking 700 miles , the odeometer reset to zero . Normally the clock should go upto 999 etc before zeroing again . This was after a weekend away down somerset and I was guaging the fuel range etc so that buggered up my experiment . I wouldn't have thought you could alter range on the odeometer , could ?

Its because you reached 1000 kilometres, the clocks think in kilometres rather than miles. My bike does exactly the same. Nothing wrong as such, its just how they work.

Thats good to know then although cant understand how you can change kph to mph but the change over does not alter the trip meter . Another italian quirk eh! you gotta to love em .

Interesting answer, and I thought it was due to the fact he was travelling in the North, strange things happen in the North.
