    RSV4 ARPC TC and gearing

    Hi All,

New to the forum, but thought I maybe able to get some advice. I changed my gearing on my ARPC for an endurance race on Saturday and it looks like its knocked to the TC off completely. I did a 520 con with -1 Front and +1 and +2 at the rear. I could have really done with it in the terrible down pour during the 3 hr race on Saturday at Donnington...sliding all over the place.

I've been total to re-calibrate it over 1km as in the manual or as I've done with tyre changes before, but this is going to be quite difficult being in race trim. Anyone had similar problems or know a solution.

    Cheers

    Ryan

The calibration is a pain for racing but now I can see I'll be having the same problems as you shortly :P (520 conversion with sprocket changes)

As far as I know the calibration should adjust for the differences you specified. I'm probably going to speak with our official Aprilia dealer in Aus regarding what you are talking about so if there aren't any answers for you by then I'll let you know the outcome. Plenty of guys out there racing them so I can't imagine it is going to be too difficult.

    Cheers,
    Phil
