    Bike cutting out

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh , Bike ran fine for about 20 minutes this morning then coming up to a stop, clutch in to change down bike died. Put into neutral hit the starter and it fired straight back up again. Next stop and it did it again .
For the rest of the journey when I came up to a stop I held the throttle at around 2k revs .............no problems. Arrive at work, clutch in to change down coming into the car park bike dies again , but fires straight back up.

WTF !!!!, I need to get home tonight (and it will be in the dark), effing piece of shite

It's probably not used to all that air in the petrol tank!!!!

Could it be something to do with that? or fuelling if you've put your standard can back on. Just a wild guess!!

Right disconnected the clutch switch (basically just unplugged it) no difference still cutting out , but its completely random.
Bike will idle quite happily for as long as you like , revs up to the redline quite happily under load. will run quite okay when changing down but when you roll off the throttle coming to a stop it can just die .

Anybody had these symptoms ??, I need to it sorted asap

bit of a guess but haven't you just put on standard can?
that mixed with cold dense morning air, high pressure (1032mb today)
    could combine to cause this
maybe just need to get it set up to standard can?

starts fine every time , will idle happily on fast idle until up to temp will then continue to idle after fast idle set to off. even whens the fans cut in it still continues to idle.
Even after it cuts out it will start instantly and idle fine

Ran fine last week on the standard can (well thats 2 days commuting).
Could it be an airlock ?, I did have the tank off at the weekend to do the breathers, if so how could I fix that ?

Yes indeed, first unwind idl screw and go for a 0
    You have to start somewhere
Check the rubber hose to the fuelpressure regulator to, you know the regular visual inspections.
    You never know.

Where is your paypal adres ?

sounds like you guys know a lot more than me however mine was doing this and it locked the back weel up on me at about 25 -30mph... no big deal but i was slowing for a juntion on a busy road.. fired straight back up no probs im sure this is basic stuff but i now allways blip the throttle on downchanges i never used to on the jap 4's and i increased the idle to make sure it was getting enough fuel between lazy gear changes

TinMan, you will need to get the throttle bodies correctly adjusted to cure your stalling issues. Is the bike running MAP2 with race cans?

The bike has standard cans on, however it was a class c write off before I got it, and the cans are ok so there could have been race cans on it before. How do I know if it has map 2 running on standard cans?

Not on an 06 model. There will be no wire cut so don't go looking for one Tinman. Map 2 is set up on post 04 models with the use of the Axone equipment at an Aprilia dealer, so you'll need to get yourself along to one to have the bike plugged in

p.s Did you get the problem sorted Kiwi?

Ahh, ok, thanks caterpillar. Only problem being there aint any Aprilia dealers in Oxfordshire anymore! Was one in Oxford and one in Abingdon but both have turned to Suzuki
