    Question "For track use only"..

    Hi,
The pipe leading to my end can has engraved -"for track use only".
Is this as standard on the RSV?

The place I bought it from a few weeks back said they thought this wasnt the original can/exhaust, as it only has one single outlet....But, as a 2000 model, I think it is....and it is an Aprilia can..
    Anyone know for sure??

I would like to put something a bit better on, but at the moment where I live its plenty loud when I start her up at 7am every morning
    Cheers!

it's an Aprilia can for sure but it's not the original,The original is the huge great big dustbin like thing with twin outlets on the end
What you have there is an Aprilia after market race can

And to be really honest the can you've got there should be pretty much OK you wont better it that much so might be worth saving you're money.

Looks like the old Aprilia Titanium race can to me, should be coupled to the Titanium chip too....

Wouldn't bother changing it - Its a good combo....

It's an Aprilia RSC Ti can, you won't get better quality than them and it is easy to polish out the "Not for road use" with a dremel or small grinder and then a bit of polishing paste, simple, keep what you have, i have a chip for that if you are interested drop me a PM (it will be cheap as chips)

It is good news to read yer thoughts on it...It has a fairly good low down growl out of it...And at anything over 5000 revs it howls like a banshe in heat!! which I like (the sound, not horny ghosts!)...temped to hear other systems though!

Hi,great to see a fellow Irishman with great taste in bikes, the RSVs are rare enough over here,I had the same model as you and was tempted to buy the Aprilia race can for it,I heard one, thought it sounded great

MOT test stations have no way of testing the noise omitted from a race can and as they are not allowed to remove graphics all you need do is place a sticker over the engraving that states "not for road use" and they cant fail your bike
