    fuel tank pressure build up

    was out today and noticed some petrol leaking out the cap...opened the tank and pressure in the tank sprayed some petrol out

    is this a blocked breather tube.....where do i start looking ?

    ye, sounds like breather tubes blocked.. lift the tank and unscrew the two nipples secured into tank base..get a pin or needle and poke them out,,,

    you dont need to unscrew them, just poke a bit of thin wire through to clear the debris, common thing for them to get blocked

    How are those clocks doing then?

    they went pop mate lol ..... re soldered the joints but no luck so got some off flea bay from an 07 bike

    yep.. ..one breather nipple was completely blocked.. ..had to drill the crap out it was so full and solid
