well that made a difference to cold starts

went out to the bike today as its not been started for 2 weeks.

so before i start it i put the OE can on "i was feeling strong" so it would be quiet for any neighbors as i wanted to let it fully warm up.

then thought will the damn thing start as its been -3-4 here and -1 atm so was thinking this is gonna take a while,

well put the cold start lever to full and hit the button and away she went in a second like it does when warm no throttle needed or prolonged cranking etc .

if id left the Arrow on it would have taken full throttle and a good while so maybe the noisy cans are bad for starting millies when cold as they dont allow enough back pressure ?.

ive not tried the bike with an OE can but i shall see how it goes "must remember not to use my right leg when stopping as ill fall over"

I got to put my oe can on soon for Mot time later this month........I have not yet heard the bike running with it on yet, so will be interested to see what it sounds like compared to my cut down akro..........mind you I think judging by the weight of the titanium akro last time I took it off there is no packing around the baffles as it was too light if you know what I mean......also a couple of the rivets are blowing as I can see the fumes when started form cold blowin through em so job for the weekend!!! Got the rivets and got the packing I use the loft insulation stuff as its made from recycled glass and is non flammable will tkae some pics and commentary for any 1 who needs to know how to do it.....
