    Throttle body vacuum units??

    Guys, can anyone confirm I have these readings right!!!

    My vacuum gauges read in mm (which I assume is mm/mercury) but the Haynes manual recommends the throttle body readings to be between 270 to 330 mbar!

    So, after checking the Internet for conversions, I have .....

    270mb = 202.5mm/mg
    330mb = 247.5mm/mg

    Just going out today to recheck the readings and co2 levels on the road bike and want to make sure these are right before I start!!

    Cheers all.

    The factory figure is 300mb + or - a 30mb difference between cylinders. CO takes priority over vac so if you can't get the CO to the correct figure without messing the vac slightly, then that's acceptable.

    If you can't get your idle down low enough after Andy then sync at 1250rpm but set the tps with no idle screw input.

    300mb is 325mm/mg, your figure for 270/330 is correct
