Oh shit yeah pawtrucket ure right on the right hand side of the picture you cansee the subframe stop...
So vince if you want to take a pillion you defo need to change it back to a 2up frame
Or a tail pack I would suggest. Thats dodgy.
ok so the guy lied out of his arse about it blowing off really didnt he..cheeky git...was nothing for it ever to attach to anyway
you've got a single seat subframe..if you ever want to carry a pillion or put luggage/panniers on swap now for a dual seat subframe...
good news is all bits are easy to fit etc.....available off the guys on here or the devils website EBAY!!!!!!!
Now if you want to do it on a budget put a wants list up..
you'll need key lock ,cable and mechanism as well as the bracket that holds it to the subframe..there are 2 different brackets single and dual subframe type..but the single can be chopped to fit the double if you ever cahnge the subframe.
below is on ebay..brand new £55..but try cuzza/crowtree they are breaking bikes and could help
this is the single seat bracket ...£10 on ebay

My bad, that's a 2000 R subframe isn't it. Forgot they did a single seat one.
Looks like previous owner probably made it a track bike ? I'm working on mine to make it road legal but fortunately all frame, switches etc appear to be there.
I have rear lights with indicators on the way, I have a rear fairing and cowl on way but I need the small rear fairing that houses the lights, there's one on fleabay from a 2000 model and mine is 2002 bike will it work ?
Thanks for help in advance....
i'm hoping your seat will fit better once you have the seat unit spaced out and bolted up properly ..or it nmay be the wrong year seat for the tank/seat unit combo
I'll be breaking an 02 RSV next week if you need the parts, dual subframe. Obviously all the bolts/spacers/pillion rests will be available too. Drop me a PM if I can help.
The locks will be sold as a complete set though.

Just had a look at mine, the pin doesnt look removable.
To be honest i would be asking whoever you bought it from to give you money back and get one from somewhere else.
They must have know they were selling you a useless part.
well thats shit lol. thanks for the reply
Hey Vince,
Go on eBay and ask for the bits he owes you...

THats the original seat but wont fit the bike now because he put 2000 plastics on it *DOH*
Hi mate,
I love the way people prance around the internet talking shite about others and not expecting anything back, well, here's a bit of news for ya fella!!
I sold it to you as is, the cowl I said I would sort out when one came up for £50 as that was our agreement and I also said that I would send you the exhaust free of charge for the MOT for the whole bother!!
I am not going to just blast £150 out of pocket because you are impatient and want a cowl NOW!!!
1 - You should have simply asked me what was missing and I would have happily helped you out
2 - You sent me a text saying that you were going to sort one out and how it attached (which I then proceeded to explain via text to now see you didn't pay ANY attention)
Mate, slagging someone off behind their back for not buying you a lock mechanism, a cowl and a lock mechanism bracket for £50 is being the a@#*hole, how's about I see your silent treatment and raise you a F*@K OFF!!
I hate people who do NOT have the common sense to CALL, yes, you have my number and I have answered every time you have sent me a text, I tld you I had all the stuff to make it a 2-seater and that I had paid a lot of money for it and that if you wanted it then I would happily sell it to you at an extra price.
People talking shite on here really gets my back up, and the person that has sent me a message this morning asking if I would GIVE him the seat, yes mate, a £120 brand new seat for those infamous £50, who also seems to be the exact same person that started this thread, could have easily contacted me instead of LYING to EVERYONE and turning people against a person they thought wouldn't come and say anything.
Just for the record, the seat cowl came off as I was riding on the beginning of the M4 (Cross hands) as I was on my way to a friend's house whom was accompanying me that day to drop the bike off, he knows I am no scam artist, if I say it fell off (which it did as I spent 45 mins walking up and down the embankment trying to find it and was also stopped by the police and told to get on my bike immediately or I faced 3 points) then he would back me up as he saw it not 1 day before when I had completed the downscale from a 2-seater to a single seat as it was when I bought it.
Yes, when I bought it there were a few things missing, we, that's myself and another gent on this forum that has generously informed me of all you slagging me off, soldered all the wiring (in the photos you have put up) as they were loose connections, so we, basically tidied it up, put everything back together and I used it with no issues for 6 months, I lost my job and had to see her go (very sadly).
All I can say is you got a bargain bike for less than I paid for her with an extra exhaust that I paid for separately, you have to invest a bit of cash? yes, try finding a mint one for that price!
Now all that is left is for me to return your £50, if you want the exhaust then you can pay me for it because that was "For the whole bother of the cowl", and go forth mate, I am not an arsehole and I certainly didn't think you were but I have been proven otherwise in respect to you.
Thanks and GFYs!!!
