Fux me old pal. Your mrs is gonna hit the roof when she sees that sofa cushion

By the way you haven't disconnected all the links in your chain so it's not properly stripped down is it

I thought i took cleaning to extremes but even i wouldn't go that far cheesy.

Or was it an attempt to match the weight of the new rsv4 ?

Heres the list so far of bits i have

Spray frame/swingarm & subframe & clock bracket black

Fitting rsvr fairings but same colour scheme

carbon belly pan, rear hump, front mudguard, mid infills, light surround & some other carbon touches

02 spec rsvr engine to replace the 99 one, its done 50miles, still with same mods but maybe a gabro/edwards chip

Hopefully with 1060 fitted, but still looking into this

    Scotts steering damper fitted

2 into 2 exhaust with akrapovic zx10r/gsxr1000 style cans & custom link pipes

    Ohlins rear shock

Oz wheels possibly sprayed a contrast to the bike colour sim to how the airwaves team run there wheel colours

    Harris/woodcraft clip ons

    Acculign rear sets

A fair few other touches & replacement bits

    but i'll keep everyone updated

In all honesty it was fairly easy getting it to that stage

When it comes to refitting the hard bit will be getting the engine back in as its a F**King tight fit

I think you are a nutter but fairplay to you for doing it completely balls out.

You are indeed on a mission there

If I was going to all that bother I would get a FUTURA swingarm and convert it to single arm.

Sounds like it will be a stunner once finished.

I couldn't get past piccie 3, well when I saw that tin of Quality Street sitting there, (Top right of image) it was hard to move on.

Going to wait until the end of November and mines getting the Cheesy treatment too. Nothing too drastic mod wise but I suspect that the engine has been unloved for a long time. Suspect that most of my jobs will be able to be done with engine in situ.

Oh by the way, I am a techie so now worries Cheesy mate, give us a buzz if you get stuck. I have mastered the art of eating Quality Street.

Id have that back together in 2 hours.

Perhaps with the engine in upside down and the front disc stuck underneath the belly pan. lol
