Bad day on isle of man

Well i was out for nice cruise today round the tt coarse, the weather was nice(dry but a bit chilly)not going to fast been out for about half hour tyres nice and warm.
Doing about 55-60mph into laureal bank just before glen helen,The result was a lowside into the safegard fence(thank you TT prep) if the air fence had not been there Just the dry stone wall?? i dont think i would be typing this, and the bike would be alot worse.
Looks like i wont have a bike for TT WELL GUTTED.

The guy that was coming towords me said it looked well cool with all the sparks coming of the bike what a er.
I did not want to here that 5min after a 60mph crash and my pride and joy fcuked.

Thanx to the copper who helped me stick my bike back to gether with medical tape so i could get home, the cops are top over here.

Does any one now how long it will take for the insurance to pay out i have fully comp

Air fences save lives ...and as you say, probably saved yours in this case. Glad you are ok, and bike not damaged too badly i hope.

Sorry to hear of your off mate, your bike will be written as the brake lever has touched and damaged the frame, it is better that way as you will get a settlement sorted sooner and able to get a bike quicker

Been there and done that, it's a total b'stard, BUT good to hear you're relatively ok. As Badger says if the frames damaged bike will be written off & payout should be sharpish (I got a cheque within a couple of weeks) all the best!

Glad your ok mate, when i crashed my MV Agusta last year, the frame got a smack on the kerb. Insurance write off, and cheque with me 3 weeks later. And the best bit... for only £5 less than i paid for the bike!!
