    Swing Arm Removal!

Im considering changing the Swing arm on my 2004 RSV due to it being damaged, this damage occured before i purchased the bike and was told the original exhaust marked it on a drop.

    -Has anyone changed theirs?

    -How difficult is it?

    -Is it a big Job?

Any tips or advise would be kindly apreciated

    changed mine

piece of cake to be honest

would change the bearings while ya at it
make sure you have all the correct size tools to start
most tool kits won't have right size kit in them

had to order the correct size socket for the nut i think its 26mm but can check
    halfords didn't supply that size

i use axle stands under my rear sets

Cheesy is spot on make sure you have all the tools, i managed to undo mine with a 27mm just to stop it spinning as i was already halfway through the job!

It is an easy job, just make sure the bike is sturdy, and its a perfect time to inspect/replace the linkage bearings.

I avoid buying genuine Aprilia parts where possible, you pay through the roof
