Sorry but I'm not sure which bracket you mean. Are you talking about the shock linkage?

Swapped straight in place of my Sachs shock. I can measure the distance between bushes if that helps?

OK, centres are 322mm apart. I think these shocks are fitted as standard to the RSV-R(? Isn't the Ohlins shocks the attraction of the -R version?) so something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/APRILLIA-R...item3f0d0bafc0 could do the trick if you find your standard shock's centres aren't 322mm.

Well, that's what I would've thought, but my bike may have had a different linkage fitted when I bought it. The Sachs shock which it was a straight swap for was a white spring type which could've been designed for an RSV-R I suppose(?)

Tis true. the ohlins dog bone is 130mm centres whereas the standard sachs has 110mm centres as whilst the shock is the same length it has a different rise rate. I did use the shorter dogbone when I was getting new bearings in the old one and it seemed to work ok so maybe it's all in the mind but I still felt the need to put the right one back on as soon as!

That's very interesting - so it's a matter of ride height and corresponding rise rate then. It might be worth getting hold of an RSV-R linkage but I found the shock to work great at Donington, so perhaps it's more ride height than rise rate??

Great - glad it arrived in good time. Hope you're as impressed with it as I was.
