    is that the type needed for an RSV? most of the sensors looks very much shorter..

    he had it fitted to an 02 mille so i hope so :-)

    I think the type of rearsets in use makes all the difference..

    that looks like one of DJ's 'linear travel' sensors, not the usual presssure push or pull models.

    Yeah this is the one needed when using standard rearsets.......you tap the shift lever and install it. I used the cut down spanner head, behind the crash bung on the engine mount and attached the qs to it......worked flawlessly!!
