    Newbie here with pics.

As my old bike got damaged (a 1991 FZR 1000) I needed a "new" one.
Decided to get myself a nice V2 and bought one. Import from Italy, build in 2003, used to be silver but due to scratches now in black and clean.
    Here it is:

Condition is quite good, bike has done 18k miles, runs great, all fluids changed, even the rear brake is working.

Looks lovely mate, a new can and a few decals from Oli on this forum will have her looking great.
    Enjoy the V-twin power.
This is a great forum , full of helpful (and piss taking) people so if you need anything just ask.

As I'm a beginner with this bike you'll need to press my nose against the part you are mentioning.

Stickers are in progress as a mate has the skills and a plotter at hand.
Will most likely be a lion on the sides in darker gold and some original matt-black foil for the fuel tank and the rear.

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

I'm talking about the hand wind protectors. They are attached at the side of the fornt fairing. have a look at my profile or any RSV 2001-2003.

PD I actually quite like the look of the bike without them.

Ah, I was wondering why there are pins in the front fairing without a reason on mine. There are also four screws underneath that seem useless. Driving like this isn't really blowing the hands off though...yet.

Yes, thought it's a bit small as I saw it on the bike.

There is suppost to be a left and a right wind deflectors to the sides of the headlight secure with two bolts on top and two on buttom I beleive those are the pin holes you are refering too (see pict)

Took me a while to focus on the bike in the picture..

Reason I never noticed the deflectors is: The Mille is rare here and (the one which is now) mine was the first I saw in the flesh.

Have done around 1k miles now, fuel usage between 56.5mpg (on the Autobahn, around 80 mph) and 50mpg in twisty-curves-fun-mode.

Doesn't burn oil, runs great,no problems at all...

Thanks! Checked the shop and the prices are better then over here.
If p&p isn't that pricey, I'll try them in case I need something.
